Join us Tuesday, January 28th from 6pm-8pm for a demonstration style, Creole Cooking Class with Peter Trosclair.

MENU: 

Appetizer- Crab & Shrimp Toast with Creole Citrus Slaw

Main- Gulf Fish Court Bouillon

Dessert- Louisiana Strawberries & Cream 

Born and raised on Bayou Lafourche, Peter Trosclair is a bonafide expert on a Cajun cuisine very different from your typical Acadiana Vibe. Growing up in the festive town of Cut Off, Louisiana, nestled 30 miles south of New Orleans, this coastal region inspired an eclectic mix of Cajun/Creole cuisine with surprising variations from the southwest region of the state. Crab, oysters, shrimp and fish reign supreme over pork, gator and crawfish. Red sauces mixed with roux, such as a court bouillon and sauce piquant, are more common than a solely roux based gravy. This elevated menu will showcase a few of these concepts and Peter will present the process.

A glass of wine will be served and you may bring your own additional alcoholic beverages.
